Anna Elizabeth Kendrick began acting as a child, which is when she first started taking acting lessons. She grew up in a small town in rural Massachusetts on the border of Rhode Island, which is where the majority of her training and performing took place before she moved to the New York. She attended R.I.C. (Rhode Island College), and graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and honors.
She currently resides in New York, and has trained privately and in classrooms with teachers from the T. Schrieber Studio, Glen Alterman and more.
Anna has had lead and supporting roles in feature-length indie films and has been featured many times in mainstream TV and on film. Examples of a few highlights are that she was a re-occuring boardwalk floozy on "Boardwalk Empire," a re-coccuring office member in "Six Degrees," and a featured as a secretary to theatre producers in "The Notorious Bettie Paige." An indie horror film in which she starred in called "Fear the Forest," was released to DVD March 2009.
